Arepas with Muchacho Redondo
Ingredients
- 5 lbs. Beef Eye Round Roast
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup of cooking wine
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of oil
- 1 celery stick (cut into pieces)
- 1 green pepper (sliced)
- 3 onions (sliced)
- 5 baby carrots
- Salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
Directions
In a pan, heat the oil and brown the Beef Eye Round Roast (Muchacho Redondo) on all sides. Then, add the onions, green pepper, celery and carrots. Then, add the wine and water, lower the heat, cover, and cook for 2 hours. When is tender, cut it in slices and stuff your arepas with Muchacho Redondo!
