Arepas with Atlanta Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- ¼ cup of celery, sliced
- 2 cups of tomato sauce
- 1 ½ cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- Salt and basil to taste
Directions
In a large skillet, let’s brown the chops in hot oil. Remove the chops and add the celery and cook lightly. Stir in remaining ingredients and add chops. Bring to boil and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. We now take the arepas out of the oven, grab a knife and split the arepa open and stuff it with the Atlanta Pork Chops!
